New Cluster

Check out the new instrument cluster we got today from VA72C10 - it is going into my son's truck we've been working on. She's the yellow & white one and her name is Nancy.

Thanks VA72C10!

Re: New Cluster

Nice looking truck! Good luck with the install... should be nice. This reminds me I need to get cracking on my cluster.

Or maybe get Jonathon to fix it.... If he's doing any poor folk work that is...

Re: New Cluster

Thanks - we've still got quite a few other things ahead of the cluster install. My son is going crazy with anticipation of getting his ride on the road. Actually, I don't know who is more excited - him or me - Ha!

Here are a few more pics

Thanks, glad you like it! That's a really great looking truck! Love that combo with the ochre and white and the woodgrain really sets it off!

Thanks for the complements. My son will be turning 16 the end of May and is super excited to get her on the road. We found her back in January and have been working and spending money on her like crazy. I sure hope he gets a good job this summer to pay me back - and afford the fuel - Ha!

We are running 255 R70 15 with 8 inch rims - look good and are surprising affordable - $551 from the tire rack before a $50 gift card rebate.

Here are some close ups of the tires with a side by side comparison of the new center cap emblems we got from PTS 70 CST -

Re: New Cluster

Nice truck. I don't see many with that color combo. If you had the same style cluster in it before it'll be a snap but if you had the idiot light cluster you will have to re-pin the plug and run the ammeter gauge wires.

Thanks! - Yes same style cluster but with the tach. You may or may not remember me from the Electrical forums. I'm the one with the pegged battery gauge. I think we have that problem under control now though. I will be sure to update that post when we know for sure.

Thanks again - Wayne
