What coil springs?
I am trying to figure out what springs are on my truck. I know that they are drop springs in the back, but I don't know how much of a drop.... I'm sure it's only 2-3" (the front actually sits higher at the moment). How can I tell? If this topic has already been discussed, please send me the link b/c I couldn't find it w/search..... Thanks!

If you measure from the top of the wheel arch to the ground, the stock height in the rear i think is 34 inches and in the front the height is 32 inches. you should be able to tell from the diff.

its possible that they arent drop springs at all but just old sagging springs my springs are still original and the rear is sagging 3 inches which makes the truck sit about level.the measurements as the truck sat from the factory are 34 inches from the ground to the middle of the marker light in the rear and 32 inches from the top of the marker light in the front to the ground

I was afraid of that.... The truck no longer has the side markers. And by the way, the springs look brand new. A lot of custom stuff was done to the truck before the PO sold it. But I can't get a hold of him to find out the details.

Ok, here are the measurements. 31.5 in front (w/235-70-15's)and 30 in rear (w/275-60-15's) Wheel tire combos are both 27". So I have 4" drop coils in the rear?

Riveted1 I don't think any one removed your marker lights. 68s where the first year for them. Just one more reason the 67s are my favorite year.
