need part# for 4 core sb fan shroud

Is anyone running a four core radiator with a small block and 2wd from the factory? If so could you get me the part number for your fan shroud?

Thanks

Re: need part# for 4 core sb fan shroud

Before I found the correct deeper shroud for my 4X4, I ran a regular 2WD small block V8 shroud on the 4 core radiator and it fit fine. The fan just was outside of it because the engine sits back further on a 4X4 than 2WD. I don't have a GM part number but reproduction shrouds are readily available from various vendors.

This thread was spawned off another thread about 4-row radiators.
The above part number, "w/350 V-8 w/HD Rad", does that imply that there is a different part number for "w/350 V-8 without HD Rad"????

PN for all other 2wd sbc V8's w/o AC and/or HD Rad is listed as #3889079.

BTW, this is for '69-'72 trucks.

Re: need part# for 4 core sb fan shroud

3901443 looks to be a big block shroud, I am going to double check it against one I have at home, I guess it will also work with a small block

Re: need part# for 4 core sb fan shroud

I was going to purchase a repop shroud, but heard of the crappy quality... I talked to Wes at Classic Heartbeat, and he had a used OEM HD shroud in fantastic shape. Fits great.

I hit him up before posting but he did not have one. Do you have the part number by chance?

Without unbolting it... there's no visible numbers I can see.

Thanks, I think it is on the inside where the fan goes so it may be impossible to see when bolted to the truck.
