Front Shocks
The '72 is coming out of hibernation. I slapped on some new rear shocks this morning and the ride is so much better. I need to replace the front shocks as well sometime. They look like they may be a little more difficult to get to as the nut is on the inside of the frame channel. I noticed some brake lines actually touching the nut on the passenger side as well. I'm just wondering if they are tricky to replace. I have not started it yet, so maybe it's not too bad.

Piece of cake. Including taking the tire off it shouldn't be more than 10-15 minutes per side. It took me longer to replace the rear shocks.

I made some shock extenders for the front out of S/S.The hardest part was drilling the frame.

I didn't even take my wheels off. Not a bad job, just be sure to use the new supplied hardware with the shocks as it is captivating type(no lock washers)at least it is this type with Monroe.

Since I have rear leaf springs... even the rear shocks are EZPZ to replace.
The fronts are a snap too. Gary

Hopefully they will be a snap for you; I had to cut the top bolt out of mine all it did was spin....
