Seat swaps and friggin squirrels!

OK, i got the 69 out for the summer and of course the red squirrels got in it and did a number. Now it had an original CST seat that was in decent condition and... well, you know where the story goes by the title!
I had a decent 72 sierra seat here i just figured i would put a new cover on i just got from dennis (sharpie) but find out the 72 frames are different than a 69. So i get both seats apart and take the foam from this one and back from that one and so forth and come up with this. Didn't turn out too bad i thought.
In one pic you will see a small hole under the seat, but when the cover came off it was like a road map under there. Needless to say, the squirrel population has declined some...

Thanks.
As far as the floormats, those were a B-day gift from my aunt many years ago...

No, I think the squirrels are pushing up daisies now...

Great job on the seat. That would look good in my '70.

Re: Seat swaps and friggin squirrels!

swapping rails is fairly simple I took an 87 seat and put my 72 rails on it...works great.

Re: Seat swaps and friggin squirrels!

Stupid rodents. I have a mouse problem in my truck. Went to drive it the other day, hit a bump in the yard, and a mouse falls out from under the dash and onto my foot! Almost went up my pants leg. I was freaking out. Then it just chilled under the seat for a while. I was kinda tense after that on my drive. lol. It's time to get a cat. And to add insult to injury, it peed on my floor mat! Smells terrible in there now... Might be a while before I give any girls a ride.

I didn't take any pics of the 69 frame. The black seat is a 72 pictured above. The lower seat cover for the 72 was 4" wider than the 69. I am not sure where the "full foam seat" would come into play here either.

That sucks. Great result though! How did the squirrels get in?
