Cant Decide

i have the Edelbrock Chrome Signature Series Valve Covers on my truck and they leak no matter what im just thinking that they are warped saying that i got them used but for $10 for the pair, i went ahead and ordered the black ones with the baffles but im not sure how they would look or if i should order the edelbrock aluminum valve covers, my air filter cover is chrome so im not sure how the black covers would look on the small block 350 does anybody have pictures of the black ones? and witch ones would you get?

Re: Cant Decide

The top ones are the best bet. From what I hear your stuck on the edlebrock covers so get the nice thick ones and no more stamped crap. Just use some purple power and a hose an any grime will just come off

Yeah Edlebrock is a name that i grew up around, my grandpa was a strong believer in edlebrock and had a old 67 chevelle with a edelbrock built motor so i grew up around it and kinda go stuck on it

Re: Cant Decide

those allen key screws on top don't actually work
I thought would be good for valve ajustment
mine seemed to always leak when on my car
found out the cast is leaking when I put them on the truck
put some goop inside

But i'd buy them again

the tall ones are to clear roller rockers if you have stock rocker arms stock height will work...but remember if you ever plan on upgrading to roller rockers you will have to buy the tall ones.
