Ohms
How do i figure out the toal ohms of subs. Say if I were to bridge 3 4ohm subs what would the total be? isnt it something like 1/x=1/4+1/4+1/4? I forget how to figure it out, thanks

If you wire them in parallel (like the formula you gave) then you would end up with a 1.33ohm mono load, and if you were to run them in series you would have a 12ohm mono load. Do you already have the subs? What amp are you going to run them to? If you don't have the subs yet and you want to run 3 then I would suggest getting them in 8ohm rather than 4. You can wire 3 8ohm subs to most good amps and not have to worry too much about the amp overheating and shutting down.

If you wire them in parallel then its gonna be too low for most amps. Most will get hot and shut down. It just depends on what he's got.
