Mustang II with stock height spindles.
I am in the process of building my 55 2nd series and have the frame just about finished, but I was wondering how many have used the stock height spindles . If so how much it lowers the front end with these and the mustang II front end?

Re: Mustang II with stock height spindles.
A stock spindle centers about 4-1/2 (give or take) inches above the bottom of the ball joint when you use tube A arms. That's about 2-1/4 inches above the bottom of the spindle where it mounts to the ball joint.
Terrible fuzzy cell phone phone photo Some things factor in including tire size and how high you mount the crossmember in the frame. Last edited by mr48chev; 05-13-2012 at 08:27 PM. |
