Pump to Carb Fuel Line

Hey Gang, Has anyone tried to use an original mechanical fuel pump to carb fuel line with the later truck serpentine belt system? Will it work? If not what did you use? That"s next on my list of to get done. Mine had just a rubber line and we all know that's no good.

Re: Pump to Carb Fuel Line

When I switched over to a truck serpentine system my stock line would not work. Not even sure I could have bent it and made it work. I went with a braided line.

I used braided line also. Works very well, you can put it wherever you need to. I also used the edelbrock pump for the correct fittings.
