Help! Fender bender, looking for the paint codes

I had a fender bender a month ago (not my fault). Insurance gave me a nice check for the damages. They said since my truck is low mileage and in excellent shape they are not going to total it.
My front driver side fender is pushed in and I have minor scraches from the front fender to the driver side rear wheel. Also the trim will have to be changed.

So I talked to my paint and body man and we are going to paint the whole truck. Im going back to somewhat original colors.
My truck was a two tone, dark brown (with some gold metal flake) and tan. But I found the tan a bit on the light side. I found the tan on the newer f250s (two tone trucks) about what im looking for.

My question is how do i decode my vin to get the paint colors?

This is not my truck, just using it as a guide for my two tone. Brown top and bottom and tan in the middle

Take your vin to a GM dealer and see if they'll print you off the option list for the vin. I did it with my 84 gave me everything I wanted to know about the truck

what year is your truck? if you google paint colors 19XX chevrolet pickup it should give you an idea of the names of the colors along with some paint chips.. depending on your monitor they may be off a shade or two but those are the factory colors and as long as your truck is OEM paint it should match when you paint it
