Vibration at 60mph...
My truck starts making a terrible noise at almost exactly 60mph from the rear passenger side. It sounds/feels like I'm driving on the rumble strip beside the highway. Below 60mph, it doesn't make the noise at all. Above 75 it starts to go away again.
Anybody have any thoughts on what is wrong? I'm thinking either the driveshaft is out of balance or the tire. (I've got 33s) It's been doing this for a long time, I just rarely drive above 60mph.

Re: Vibration at 60mph...
What condition are your tires in? My 76 did the same thing. Look at the tread on the tires for un even wear. My tires had less than 1000 miles on them but they started to separate from age and weather rot. Driveline vibrations are usually found at 30 mph and under. Good luck

Re: Vibration at 60mph...
My truck started to do the same thing right after I installed a set of used front tires. Vibration from 90-95km/h. Below or above that speed is smooth.

Re: Vibration at 60mph...
Hmmm...my tires are a bit cracked from weather but do not have that many miles on them. The tread looks evenly worn. Maybe I should try rotating the tires?

I'd buy new tires. It sounds like you need them anyway.
