installed new ign.module and vacuum advance tonite
don't know if there will be any seat of the pants perf. gains but it definitely needed done.had already bought awhile back "performance distributors" d.u.i. dist. cap, coil,rotor,...but didn't have the ignition module to complete the upgrade or a adjustable vacuum advance canister.should be interesting to see if any noticable gains........anybody else do any of these upgrades? the adj. vac. advance says it's adj.......never did notice how in the heck you adjust it though. it came w/ a small allen wrench but i never did see how you "adjust" it.just put it on the same way i took the old one off.

The vacuum advance is adjusted where you connect your vacuum hose, insert the allen wrench in the vacuum advance hose nipple and if memory serves me correctly turning the allen wrench clockwise increases the amount of advance and rotating it clockwise decreases the advance. To adjust the best it requires the use of a distributor machine but can be done also with a good timing light that shows amount of advance as motor runs through the RPM's
