Brake pedal help for front disc conversion

I've searched the forum and can't seem to find an answer to this. I purchased a front disc conversion for my '69 C/20, and I'm stuck with the installation of the push rod. The directions say that for these trucks there are two mounting holes in brake pedal arm, and I should use the lower hole for mounting the push rod. The pedal arm on my truck only has one hole. I seem to remember seeing somewhere on here that people have drilled a lower hole in their pedal arm. Hopefully someone out there has run into this same situation and has some insight for me. Thanks.

Are there other people out there who upgraded to disc brakes that had to do this? Please let me know if you did and how it worked. I want to know if I really need to do this or would this work as is.

I am looking for disc brakes for my 68 gmc 3/4 ton...what did you buy and from whom?

FWIW I am in the middle of a disc brake conversion and mild drop on my 71 c10 that I purchased from Hartrods in Las Vegas. He had the best price by far on the complete CPP kit. The CPP kit is very well put together, no complaints at all. All the components are GM so replacement parts will be easy enough to find when necessary. Here's a few pics of the CPP parts and a shot of my best helper for your enjoyment.

I just used the hole already on the pedal and had no issues with my POL kit.

Thanks Keith. Sounds like you only had one hole too on your pedal arm. I have the 8-lug POL kit too. The installation instructions call for using the lower hole, but since I only have the one, I think I'll take your advice and give it a try as is. If the braking doesn't seem right, then I'll explore drilling it then.
