Putting a 73 bumper on a 72

I'm restoring a 72 chevy k20 and i have been looking at the iron bull bumpers site to put on my truck. I know its not very classic or retro but i like the style and i guess hey, its my truck so i might as well do what I like! Theres just one problem they only make fitted bumpers back to the 73 model. Now my question is; how different are the 73 bumper mounts from the 72? Would the bumper made for the 73 bolt onto my 72 truck, and if not is it possible to modify the mounts so that this was possible? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot!

Crawl under yours and take some measurements and maybe a few digital camera photos of where the brackets bolt to to refresh the memory and the crawl under a 73/80something K20 and measure and figure out what the difference is. That should let you know what you are up against.
