1963 Interier paint
I am putting my 1963 Chevy C10 truck back original, does anyone know what the original interior paint color / code was?
The plate on my truck say's Interior (STD)I assume means standard. It is a grey but I want it to be correct color. I think the fire wall is also this color. |

Re: 1963 Interier paint
I did a post a day or two ago and I was talking in it about how I had been painting on a car in my shop and thought it very close and that I had taken a test panel outside to my 64 and it was really close. That paint is a 2002 GM WA#220C. OK, I titled the post WC#220C if you go back a page or two and find it[I don't know how to link to other post. That is why I'm doing the hard way ]It has the mixing numbers posted by someone who listed them in the post. good luck and happy sanding

Re: 1963 Interier paint
aerotruk63 got the exterior down, here is the '63 standard interior. In '63 GM called this color "fawn beige" (not to be confused with exterior beige or fawn color). The interior fawn paint is sold in quarts from Jim Carter Truck Parts, don't believe it is sold in rattle cans. Some later model cars use this similar goldish silver color as an exterior color.
