Very cool. I love that foot print gas pedal. I haven't seen one of those in a long time.

I like it. The black and chrome glove box door really balances out the dash.

Looking good. I have only one suggestion. Drive it to my place Sunday June 24th for a cookout. There's also an rod run just around the corner happening.

Thanks DMW. They're Hedman Hedders, Ceramic coated. Summit had the best deal going for them. Here's a link to Summit:

Seat cover is awesome.. Looks great. I have nothing near that nice but,,, may I make one observation... Not being a dick, but, here goes. Underhood is beautiful, the only drawback we see is that green battery. That is so out of place with everything else. Again, just an observation, not bashing that beautiful engine bay by any means. Thanks, Fred.

You and my F-ing Wife!! JEEEZZZ
She's told me the same thing for 4 years now about that Freakin' Battery!! That cuts it, I'm getting a Red-top Optima TODAY!!

Jeezz, enough with the color of a Freakin' Battery. Like I tell her: "It's a Battery for Christs sake"! "Who gives a S**T if it's Green?"

Well, I guess I now have an answer to that question, don't I? Now I can tell my wife; FRED gives a S**t if it's green or not.

For what it's worth (which isn't a whole lot), green and black is one of my favorite color combos.

I see you have a trans cooler in the front , is it plumbed directly to the trans ? or looped through the Radiator an cooler ? I jus bought one an it's not as big as the one on yours , just want to be safe an not burn up my 350 turbo.. same length , half the width ? still getting it ready for paint so no road test yet .. any thoughts

It all looks super! I really like the red piping on the seat and the retro gas pedal. When I was a teenager I put one of those on every vehicle I had. Now my son thinks they are cool.

Thanks Bert. I wanted the Interior to have a "1968" feel to it. So, I put things in I remember from 68 when I was a 10 year old and I was all into Drag Racing and Hot Rods. That's why the Gas pedal and Dimmer Switch have the Feet. Plus the Steering wheel is a Mooneyes and the vintage style SUNPRO Tach is on the Column (with a Pipe Clamp of course) and that gauge on the bottom of the dash is a an Old "Bullet" style "Motor-Minder" vacuum gauge that tells you if you're saving gas and you're running in the "best range".
Been trying to think of other things from that wonderful era that I could include, but nutin's been trippin' my trigger lately.

Find a NOS compass for the dash, tissue paper box fuzzy dice are always cool!!! NOT. How about a CB radio?
I'll have to admit the black top battery is much better to the eye!

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Thanks for asking. Much better. I guess I have a strange form of dementia,, things like the green battery in your beautiful engine bay just slap me in the face. The question is,,, what does your wife think about it???
