Hydroboost setup in '66 w/LS motor
I'm currently running manual brakes, disc up front (wilwood d52) and drums out back. I have an lq4 w/the hydroboost ps pump....so what do I need to get, and do to set it up?
I imagine I'll need the hydroboost unit, and a new master cylinder? OR does my MC mount to the hydroboost unit? I'll probably need to get a mounting bracket from captainfab as well. Does it matter which year parts I get, or do I have to use later model stuff because of the newer model ps pump?

A thread I made up a couple months back. It's not a '66, but I can't imagine it would be much different. You're a crafty guy, so it shouldn't be too much of a headscratcher for you. Good luck!

Re: Hydroboost setup in '66 w/LS motor
Ahhhh, ok...so that thread helps a bit.
This one i think shows me what I wanted to see. Its PS Pressure -> Boost IN -> Boost Pressure ->Steering In -> Steering Return -> Pump return ? Whats with the capped return on the HB unit?

Re: Hydroboost setup in '66 w/LS motor
Ive got a hb unit and ps pump off a 06 2500 to swap into my 1500, but I may just swap it into the c10.
