Parts swap?
I have the body and frame of a 1972 suburban. It is a 4x4 half ton. It is literally just the body and frame. I don't have engine, axles, driveline, transmission, steering, etc....Crazy I know
I found a 1971 4x4 half ton Custom/10 that runs and has all the parts I need. I think I can take all the parts off the pickup and put them on my burb without any modification. AM I RIGHT? |

Re: Parts swap?
Yes.
But you will need to get a burb drive shaft if I am not mistaken.

Re: Parts swap?
My 70 Burb has a two piece driveshaft but I has seen references to swapping in one piece shafts so I think even the shaft should be usable if the truck also has the 127" WB.

Re: Parts swap?
Do a forum search with the term driveshaft and suburban. Looks like several good threads.
