Ride quality on 25 series tires?
Im baggin my 68' and cant decide if i want to run (in the rear) 24s on a 25, or 22s on a 30 or 35 tire? Anyone rode in a bagged vehicle on rubberbands? Ive heard its hell on a spring suspension but not so bad on bags? Thanks for any input

Re: Ride quality on 25 series tires?
Low pro and ride quality never go together. Being a long time BMW guy I will get more serious and answer in a more educated manner. If you go down in profile the suspension has to be designed to compensate for the less compliant sidewall. This all goes out the window when you have an adjustable suspension. Which is your case. Like you said "its hell on a spring suspension". When you run that set up you don't have many choices in spring rates or shock/strut valving. Manufacturers can do it in during new vehicle testing. All you have to do is drop a couple more psi to compensate. Watch out for potholes!!

Re: Ride quality on 25 series tires?
Sorry, I meant soften up the bags. Not the tires.
