has a blemish on glass I could not get out, its soft-ray, good chrome 60 shipped

what is the blemish? scratch or chip? brain fart i see it. is it in the glass or something ontop that could be taken out with some polishing?

if this has date code aj-66 i would be interested. not sure if polishing would take it out.
