Let's see those pics of your muscle trucks...

Trucks built with a muscle car attitude... custom is good if done properly. I actually have two trucks if time ever allows i will be building both of them. Trucks are as follows 1955 3100 small back window short bed stepside, it will have a 454/ 4l80e combo with a 4bbl holley 950cfm tbi. IT will also be running a factory ecu that i will have to reflash out of a 1993 k2500. Twin turbos are planned for this build (factory as possible in looks and built to the hilt under the hood ... wolf in sheeps clothing) That truck is named mater by my kids. Second truck i just purchased will have what i can scrounge to make it a functional rolling usable truck with a little attitude, is a 1964 small back window apache, named by me appalache being that i am from kentucky originally seemed to fit the truck. (I name all my vehicles gives them a soul so to speak. ) That will have a 366 bbc warmed over out of a 1971 6 yard dump and a th400 short tail not much for performance but shouldnt have any problems towing with the original 12 bolt with 5 lug axle conversion on rear . It has a 1974 1/2 ton front cradle for all the disk compontents. I should mention i used a 1979 suburban front frame clip for the 55 is heavier than that on the 64. It was from a 1979 suburban with the big 10 option ( basically a 3/4 ton five lug suburban) It had a 12" front rotor and a 13x3" rear drum from factory for plenty of woah for the go ....)

I don't know if you'd consider mine a muscle truck but it's got some muscle. 63 GMC with a 400 hp 383 stroker and a TCI Streetfighter TH350. On the outside it's banged up and ratty but everything in or under it is new and (somewhat) clean.

Re: Let's see those pics of your muscle trucks...

Heres a couple of pics of my '63...I have dreams of a 409 in it!

The COPO Concept will be a true muscle truck ('68 short step, 4.5/6 drop, w/427BB/T400 and hubcap wheels (15x6 & 15x8)), but its still very much a ground up project right now..

Mine probably wont make a line up like this until about this time next year...but the intent and spirit are there. Someday you will see what I mean by that.

Hopefully LOL

Re: Let's see those pics of your muscle trucks...

I suppose my truck fits into this category. A few years ago it was 4 months away from a performance rebuild (for my birthday) along with fenderwell headers, and either 2x4’s or a tunnel ram poking through the hood. Corporate downsizing and early retirement cancelled those plans. It can still go fast enough to be entertaining however with a 350/Richmond 4 speed in front of 4.10 gears.

Re: Let's see those pics of your muscle trucks...

This is my 1960 Chevy Stepside that has been in the family since 1981. Currently has a 355 Chevy Small Block. Front clip off an 81 camaro and rear end. This trokita runs like a beast, poor thing has been parked for over a year now due to too many projects and lack of funds. :-( Plus having 5 children makes a lil hard to work one her the way i'd like. But family comes first.
