Help Needed: '59 GMC 303CSxxxxD

All, I am new to to forum, have acquired a '59 303CS series truck, set up as a dump truck bed. It has a 270 in line 6, 4 speed manual on the floor, with a 2 speed electric switched rear end. It is manual steering, and here is my first question: I would like to convert to power steering.
Anyone know where to source parts (new or used, conversion or stock) to make this rig go power steering ?
Next: Anyone have experience with disc brake conversions for these bigger (5 ton ?) trucks?

This is surely not my day driver (top speed geared as is, is about 55 MPH) but I like to get it out and use it regularly for hauling. I would like it not to be a practice vehicle for the Iron Man !

Also, any thoughts on what the heck this vehicle is by the serial number designations would be appreciated. I can post pictures at some point also.

Thanks, but that site seems to completely ignore the 300 series trucks. Not sure why, but I can not find much about a 303CS there.

c - Oakland CA plant
S- 58 or 59

You may need to sign up over there and ask on their forums. I know they can help you. Also Stovebolt.com is another good resource for stock trucks and either place maybe able to help on the P/S issue and whats available.

Do you have 5 lug wheels ? If so the The late GMC NPR Trucks do.
