Re: Roadster Shops new 66 Suburban project

amazing build...while often a little too radical for myself, such great craftsmanship never ceases to amaze me....i'm scared to even guess how much $$$ is going into this....but it's so cool that technology allows us to follow along with the builder, seeing almost every phase of the process & details that many of us would otherwise overlook...it's truly a work of art!...now i'm anxious to see it completed

Re: Roadster Shops new 66 Suburban project

What beautiful metal finishing. Not only is the project cool, look at that shop! I’ve never even heard of a frame jig on a rotisserie. And full size car bodies stacked on the wall, and the lighting. Wow!

Re: Roadster Shops new 66 Suburban project

thats what you can do with cubic dollars!!
love it, wonder if yhe will use a 67 grille like the rendering?
wish I had money like that to spend, I have lots of cool ideas for these trucks, that will probably never see the light of day...

Re: Roadster Shops new 66 Suburban project

Looks really cool so far. The hood, fender set up is sweet and lots of work of course. Sometimes I see super nice metal work and think it's a shame that it has to be covered with paint.

Re: Roadster Shops new 66 Suburban project

I love the hood mod.

I am doing the 67 grille swap too, something tells me theirs may look better with no paint on it though. gorgeous work.

Re: Roadster Shops new 66 Suburban project

The hood is cool but the bumpers will really have the biggest impact on the exterior appearance.

Crazy metal skills on this one. So nice in fact, that final bare metal finish is suspect. Holy crap!

aint that the truth? That is a sign of true craftmanship - of which there are no similar signs in my garage.

Wouldn't it be nice to just send one over and tell them to call when it's ready, and look as nice as that one
