1968 GMC Grill Help Plz!

I was told they do not make the solid chrome grill anymore. If anyone knows of a place that does please let me know. I was forced to purchase the one stamped GMC today due to this but I would like to see if anyone knows of another place that may have it.
Thanks, Stephen

Purchases are always a choice. So then, here is what I found at GMC Paul's for you. See the note about the black paint, but this seems a lot closer than stamped letters.

I know, but I have a time limit to get this done and a tuff choice had to be made. I can still send it back if I find one in time.

I really like the blim grill idea. Only thing that concerns me is what kind of paint did they use? Is it a kind of paint that is like an acid that helps bond it to chrome?

Send them an email for the paint clarification tonight. Suspect that, and based on their description that is comes off but might be a bit frosted underneath. Polishing should help. But if not having a frosted accent band around the headlight doors could look good to.
