Need help!
Well, I received good news about my truck that caught fire about 2 weeks ago. My mechanic called me to say that a wiring harness that goes to the fuel selector switch is fried and the fuel valve itself needs replacing. I do not know much about these trucks and learning as I go. I have dual tanks and its not the switch in the cab that needs replacing, its underneath cab I think thats what he said. Any how does anyone know the name/names for these parts or what to ask my mechanic to look for? I told him to let me look for the part on LMC or Classic truck parts website. He said he can manufacture the wiring harness. Besides some fuel lines burnt up, carb needs work and other small things truck is repairable! THANK GOD! Mechanic says my daughter and I are lucky it didn't blow up while we were driving it! God was definitely watching over us that day! Any help would be greatly appreciatted

Re: Need help!
I have no help, but to me its scary to think that can happen because my truck has dual tanks. Good luck man. Glad both of your were safe.

Re: Need help!
I think I found what my mechanic needs to fix my truck. Found it on page 133 of the LMC Catalog online. Parts #7 and #8.
