72 to 68 front clip change

Hey.
I have a 72 swb and I'm going to put a 68 clip on it. Just bought the 68 clip.
My question is will my current radiator fit? And I've heard the 68 core support mounts different then the 72? Is that true. I just want to know befor I take my clip off. This is my daily driver.

Thanks a lot guys

Your current radiator will fit with no problem.

The mounting bushings are diffrent you will need the 67-68 bushings when you do the swap they are much smaller than the 69 up

Re: 72 to 68 front clip change

I'm having problems with mine. I bought a 71 with a 67 front clip I don't think it would be
bad but my 71 is a big block truck so it has a 4 core radiator and the po jammed the
radiator down into the 3 core bushings and i'm having all kinds of trouble getting it to fit
correctly

Buy the four core mounts and bushings.
