FS: complete uncut rust free straight doors! w/ pics UPDATED
*** scroll down a bit to see my reply about shipping these...
ok i threw these up last week still dont have a buyer though... I CANNOT SHIP. i live in southern california, I can bring them to the pomona car show/swap meet june 1st. need someone to pick em up for $180 ( paid OVER $200 on ebay) these 71 doors are excellent! no rust, no speaker cuts, no dings, very straight! i just threw a quick light coat of rattle can black primer on them as i was going to put them on my truck and didnt want it 10x diff colors. you will get ALL internals regulators etc, door handles, key locks (no keys) glass, vent window assemblies (black), inner handles and window cranks, hinges etc. only thing i am keeping is the metal door panels. THE ONLY PROBLEM is that the passenger side door has had a couple different mirrors mounted to it, it has about 7 small non original holes that need to be filled in. the driver side door has no extra holes and is perfect. heres the pics... the rust you see underneath on the bottoms is only surface rust, theyre solid Last edited by Dropt72Shortbed; 05-20-2003 at 05:38 PM. |

Clean drivers side door. Someone got kinda carried away on the passenger door with a drill didn't they? Too bad you can't ship these.

Grey Hound bus will ship them. Cost me about $45 to ship one from Minnesota to Kansas. Not too bad. They shipper wrapped the door in cardboard with about 3 layers of cardboard on the outside skin to protect it. Door arrived in good shape.

looks like i may ship them...
however this isnt in my best interest as im going to have to package them up, and im not sure how to package a door so that nothing gets dented. i checked out shipping through greyhound. and it looked to be like $125 for shipping both doors to the east coast, apparently i can get 25% off that since im a student. Im going to wait till after the pomona car show 6/1, if the doors dont sell by then i will ship. but im going to want a firm price of $200 if i have to go through the hassle of packaging them up then driving them 45min to the closest greyhound |
