'68 Custom
This truck came to town about five or six years ago and sat behind a local body shop. I've had my eye on it this whole time and was able to work a deal with the owner last week. These pics are when I got it straight home, haven't had a chance to clean it up. It needs a little work to get it road worthy, but it runs with cold air. As I can tell this one is about as solid as they come and a keeper! Let me know what you think.

Re: '68 Custom
Not with me, but I can get one tomorrow. Also want to get the numbers off the engine and see if someone could help me identify what it is. Has a Th400 trans and appears to be all original.

Re: '68 Custom
Bout the worst body damage where the pass fender took a hit. Pretty sure I can pull it and try and relax the bow some, to where its not as bad.

Re: '68 Custom
I've been told that some small blocks you could tell by the balancer?
Here two shots of the numbers in front of the pass head. Pretty sure it reads "V0626W0" Does someone know how to tell what engine this could be, or point me in the right direction to find out? Thanks Justin And if it hasn't had an engine swap, shouldn't these alt brackets be black?

Re: '68 Custom
I think these Customs with the full trim are just awesome. Yours just rocks with that red and white AC interior. Polish it as it is and keep it on the road...

Re: '68 Custom
Please do not hack it down to a shortbed! It so perfect the way it is. Just keep it roadworthy and drive it everyday. I really like everything about it. The wood bed is awesome. Someday Ima convert mine to the wood floor.

Man I wish my 68 looked that good. Mines a twin to yours and very solid but spent a lot more time in the Texas sun.
