Pushrod guideplates question
My new heads are machined for 3/8" screw in studs, so i orded a set of screw in studs, and a set of guideplates from Summit last week. They were backordered on the standard flat 5/16" guideplates, so i ordered a set of "raised" 5/16" guideplates for $1 more. They arrived today, and i can't figure out which way to mount the guideplates. They will fit either way with the stepped in pointing down towards the head, or rising up towards the valve cover. I am using stock rockers and a set of Comp Magnum pushrods for my valvetrain, and the cam is a hydrualic RV grind with 204/214 duration, and .420/.443 valve lift.
Thanks for any help.
