Testing the waters...looking for a pass. car muncie M-20-21-22
Howdy,
I'm looking around for an M20-21-22 for my stepside. I want one in good working condition....doesn't need a bellhousing or anything, just the shift linkages. Now here comes the humorous part of the thread....I'm looking for one cheap...LOL I'd love to have a 21 or 22, but that's highly unlikely I know. I'm in Tampa Florida, but the transmission would be going to northern Illinois. If you're within an hour or two of here, or northern Illinois, picking it up could be arranged. Otherwise, it will need to be shipped Like I said, I'm just testing the waters at the moment, but I am kinda in the market as well..... Let me know either here, or in a PM... Thanks! TJ

I'll ask Mom to go take a gander, maybe to take it to her mechanic so he can tell her what it is, then get back to you with info, ok? |

LOL Chris...it took a lot of "prodding" from another member to get a fire lit under my ass about the truck....besides, I need a vehicle down here in Florida
Jvictor--that would be awesome if you could have those numbers run for me. Then we can go from there--once you get the numbers run, please PM me. Thanks again, TJ

Well I wish I could help with the 4-speed, but I don't have one or know anyone that has one.....
But it's about time someone was able to light a fire under your a$$ and get you to start trying to get that truck fixed up and back in order!!! And good luck with the transmission hunt!

JVictor75, the Muncie has aluminum case w/2 levers on the side cover & one that's not. Saginaw is iron & has all 3 levers on the side cover. ID info & ratio info is at www.dandltransmission.com

There are several on e-bay. What engine are you hooking up to?
I have a M-20 complete set up for a 396 don't know that I want to sell it. The tranny and motor came out of 1969 Chevelle SS. The motor is going into the wifes 1972 GMC Sierra. |
