Pretty much done !
I think I'm pretty close do being done with thing. It's a 72 that I picked up about a year ago and it was in ok shape. I got it from the original owner. I live in Phx and it has spent most of it's life in AZ. I originally had no intention of doing any type of restoration on it but one thing tends to lead to another. I decided in December to do a engine swap and the next thing I know it's stripped down heading to the body shop. Here are a few picts.

Re: Pretty much done !
Neat, things always steam roll into a bigger project,,,and they are never done either
I'm up in Prescott, drive my 72 daily, it also has spent it's entire life here in AZ. Gotta love the desert when it comes to classic cars. Maybe I'll catch you out sometime. I'm down in Phoenix with mine frequently. Usually at the Pavilions once a month, but I sometimes drive a classic car rather than the blazer. Mine is another safety color, we'd stand out in a crowd for sure,,,lol. |

Re: Pretty much done !
For awhile there I was calling it my divorce truck . For some reason wives just don't get it. I was pleasantly surprised when I pulled the carpet out of it to find very minor rust. Az has a way of taking care of vehicles. I didn't do a complete resto on it. I cleaned and painted the frame and undercarriage with the cab still on. I didn't see the need to do a cab resto because I plan on driving it quite a bit and sometimes in the desert . I didn't want to get nervous or not want to drive it because it might get a scratch. I might put it in a show or two and see what happins. Maybe I will see up at the Pavilions once it starts to cool off.

Re: Pretty much done !
Thx for the compliments. I did everything my self except the paint and body. I have tons of hrs into it and it's nice to get positive feed back. Yellow is one of those colors that isn't for everybody but I like it. Thx again.
