Fuel Smell
When I am under the back of my burb I smell gas. I see no leaks and the tank looks to be in perfect shape. Is this normal? Should I be concerned? Do I need to drop the tank to investigate? Thanks

Could you have some holes in your evaporative fuel system? On my 71 there are a bunch of short rubber hoses that were absolutely rotted out.

What size is the fuel line on our trucks? Also, can you get a replacement rubber filler hose at an auto parts store?

yes you can get the rubber filler hose at aparts store......at least I was able to! Not sure how big it was, but just remove the old one an bring it in with you so they have somthing to go by. I wouldn't be surprised if thats where your smell is coming from, since that hose proabably is origanal and dry rotted......
