blazer/jimmy hardtop
never seen a factory one of these before...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ory=34204&rd=1 His price seems high. Are these rare? Anyone have any info on them? I am not interested in purchasing, just a little curious about it. ...Jeff |

They are discussed on the 67-72 side. They are pretty scare for those models. This is the first I have seen of one for a 73-87. For not knowing what it was worth he started the bid pretty high. From the looks of the top he may not have paid much more than that for the whole truck. I bet someone wants it though!

It is cool just cause they seem scarce.
IMO, if you want a truck, buy a truck...don't cobble together one out of a Blazer or Jimmy. It is neat though. |

Ok correct my if I'm wrong. I know I should know this. Wasn't the last year for a full top Blazer/Jimmy 74? If so, then I can see why he doesn't need it for his 75. I just don't know why it came with the truck. I guess the previous owner was planning a conversion.
I don't think that was a GM item either. I remember there were two companies that made the conversion kits, but I don't think GM ever did...

Never heard nor seen one for a factory 73-75 Blazer/Jimmy. I wouldn't think it was a GM item. I have heard of them for the 67-72, but have not clue about those.

Looks like a half cab for a Scout II to me. I would want measurements before I came close to his opening bid. I agree though, if you want a pickup cab for you blazer, sell your blazer and buy a pickup...
