Qjet clip info ?
For want of a throttle rod clip I can't fire the new engine.
Ya after the seven years of parts storage I found and identified most things, but not this missing clip to attach throttle rod to carb butterfly cam. Of course local car parts shops can't help, and can't find any pictures to know what to look for. Here is picture of my carb with rod sitting there. Anyone ?

Re: Qjet clip info ?
I think there is a hole for a cotter pin, don't see a groove for a clip. Also supposed to be a nylon bushing.

I'm not sure if this will help, mine is currently with the engine builder but I found these pics on my pc.

No cotter pin or groove, this must be a very early carb and
I believe would have a clip that looks like a claw.

You have the rod on backwards. The threaded part goes toward the firewall. The carb end gets a small washer and cotter pin and the firewall end gets one of the clips at the top of this picture. http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...0286&ppt=C0142 LockDoc

Re: Qjet clip info ?
As I recall it is a lot like this Camaro setup. Or they also have a $15.00 "universal' throttle rod if it is a matter of getting it running.
