Chevrolet=one who is dignified enough to expect every occasion is a special one and sees it fit to wear a bow tie... may others come under dressed.

Re: spindle help asap

I haven't ever tried but I doubt it. Someone would have already done it w/these trucks being around for as long as they been.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Re: spindle help asap

There are some members using the light duty 3/4 ton 88-98 stuff to put 6-lug disc brakes on the 67-87 trucks.
This requires you to run a 3/4-ton (67-87) lower a-arm (larger balljoint hole),... 88-98 upper and lower ball joints,... and 88-98 outer tie rods.

I'm not a proponent of ths swap because the spindle geometry has to be different.
Some members have done it with success.
But I remember one member spending over $600 in parts to make this swap happen.

This info is also used to run 88-98 2wd LIFT spindles,... on the 67-87 trucks.

What is the reason you want to use the '90's spindle?
What is the condition of the front end of your truck?
Adding drop spindles?
5-lug?
6-lug?
What else can you tell us.
