Re: 72 truck woooo's
If the SPID "looks" original - i.e. it's not perfect like a reprint - and it has a YE9 option code on it. YE9=Cheyenne Super Equip.
Other clues (that are sometimes overlooked when cloning): bright tailgate latch cover woodgrain dash and glovebox trim (along with door panels) Aluminum insert between woodgrain and painted glovebox door (i.e. not a chrome glovebox door) Trim misc listed in far left pane below sorry, kinda hard to read... |

Re: 72 truck woooo's
First off Welcome to the board.
Easiest way is to offer it for sale! People will come out of the woodwork to tell you what is wrong with your truck. Trouble is a lot of these people are misinformed as are many sellers. There are a number of features that should be found on a Super. As Jacko said first would be the RPO code YE9 on the SPID. The rest would depend on the particular trucks option list. Two-Tone paint and Houndstooth cloth seats were not always part of a Super's build. Here is an option clip to help guide you. If you want more help the best start would be to post some pictures of your truck and the SPID (covering the VIN if you want). We like challenges and LOVE pictures.

Re: 72 truck woooo's
If it's a Cheyenne and not a Super it will have the Z84 code on the SPID as shown in Tim's post and the trim listed under Cheyenne in Jocko's post.
