Camaro rally wheels?

Anyone running a Camaro front clip on a 55 to 59 with Camaro stock rallys? Have a friend who has an extra set of rallys with the 4.75 lug pattern that he wants to sell.wondering what they will look like. Anyone with pics of this set ? The rallys are from a 60s Camaro

This is what I'm looking for!!! So all I need to do is fit them with smaller center caps and thin beauty rings? The stock caps and rings don't show very much color of the rim.

Sorry no pics as the truck isn't that far yet.

Re: Camaro rally wheels?

I ran them on the 48 when I first built it in 1973 with the 69 Z28 caps and rings and liked the look. Got all four with four rings and three caps for 25.00 from a coworker in early 1973.

Color choice is strictly up to you. some folks like the stock satin silver they come in and many like to paint them body color or a contrasting color. That part is your choice and what you want.

I've always thought they looked great on these trucks and don't overpower the truck. You see the whole truck first and then see that it has rally wheels on it, you don't see a set of wheels with a truck around them.

This looks really good. Might not use the beauty rings after all, the paint looks good. Definately going to look for the 'police caps'
Have to admit I enjoy this forum. Theres a VW forum I usually 'stalk' but dont ask too many questions because you get your head snapped off about searching before you ask.
Thanks for the help and pics guys.

Re: Camaro rally wheels?

I'm thinking they look better with the little cop car caps on the older trucks then they do with the Camaro/Monte Carlo style caps

Re: Camaro rally wheels?

I like the thin rings and police caps best because you can see paint on both sides of the ring. It is more of an accent than a cover.

Re: Camaro rally wheels?

Thinking the thin rings and save up to put some spider center caps. They're a little pricey but look really nice

Re: Camaro rally wheels?

That would work and be a bit different from the norm. Still it's less than one payment on a set of billet wheels

Picked up a pair of rallys on CL for cheap. Really clean too........but they were truck rallys with a 5x5 bolt pattern and I needed 5x4.75 for the camaro disc brakes

Re: Camaro rally wheels?

I have a set of the Chevy rallys with the 6 kind of square holes with the chrome edge and the center caps. They were on my 78 el camino if you are interested in the other type rallys. They have the correct bolt pattern. I have 4 14x7 with 4 1/4 inch backspacing and I have 3 14x 6 with a 3 3/4 backspacing.
