6 lug drum to 6 lug disc ?
I found a truck with 6 lug disc brake setup.it looked like a 67 or 68. can I just swap out the disc spindles, for my drum spindles? I have the entire front frame if I need it.

Re: 6 lug drum to 6 lug disc ?
It's really hard to say.It depends on how the disc truck was done.If it used later model spindles then the ball joints may be different,They make a kit that is bolt on for these trucks but if the person who swapped it ,did it from scratch there's no telling what they used. You could pull the whole crossmember and swap it but if something goes bad,you may have a hard time figuring out what you need for replacement parts. You might use a wire brush and take some part #'s off the components and see if someone can decode them for you.It should work somehow, you just need to be sure of what you're putting together. The suspension is the foundation and brakes and steering should never be skimped on.

If it is 6 lug disc it has to be aftermarket.
