Door Lock Install Help
Changing the locks on my 67 with a new set from LMC. On my very first one I thought I was doing well after getting the old one out. Easy enough. Now I ordered new gaskets as well. Problem is, the new lock set came with white plastic "gaskets" that I don't see on the originals. The originals just had the black gaskets like I got replacements for.
Do I use the white plastic gaskets too? If so, where do they go? Help! Thanks, Adam Posted via Mobile Device |

You only use one gasket per lock cylinder. If you used two you probably wouldn't be able to get the clip on inside the door. Be sure and clean off all of the old black gasket before installing the new ones.. Just keep the other set for spares. LockDoc
