Re: Need some help?

Check the connections on the back of the ign. switch. Sometimes the wires &/or switch terms. get burnt. There is a pigtail connector available for that.

Re: Need some help?

Yes. Think we understood. I would bet a nickle on the ignition switch being bad or the wiring as wrenchbender mentioned. On our trucks the switch should be straight up when the key is off. If yours has accessory that would be the 10 o'clock position.

Re: Need some help?

Now that is one nice, clean looking truck!!! Did you find over there?

By the way, welcome to the site. Lots of people here that can help if you have other problems. And, let us know what you find with your electrical problem. Also, if you look in the electrical section, there's a lot of wiring diagrams to look at or download.

Re: Need some help?

Thanks for well coming and for that 69 grill.
It have come over here 2004 from US but can't remeber where. I did bought it a few months a go. So have'n get to know it so well. It have had some restoration over here. Like paint job. What you say about color is it anything close to original GM color. Former owner told that it might be from VW color map??

Re: Need some help?

Not sure about the color but I like it. Similar to dark blue green #512.

The 69 and 70 inner grills were identical except for the color scheme. Only trained eyes can detect it. And as you found out they're here...

Look at pics below.
