Been A while

Well its been a while since I've been on here.

In the time I've been away I've been working on my old Cummins Dodges, pulling, and gettin my old 93 whipped into shape

I also did end up selling my old 60 but not to worry it went to a friend of mine and is in very good hands and he's doing everything the way I would have. However I've been kinda keeping my eye open for a 60-66 c10 2wd lwb and I found one. Its actually kinda funny cause the guy that bought my 60 is the guy who has the 66 I got my eye on. Ended up goin over to his place to have a few beers after working on his cousins combine.

Anywho these are the details on the 66, 283 2bbl,3spd, custom cab, factory AC truck, 12bolt posi, The truck has had a camper o it most of its life so the inside of the bed is beautiful as it the bed wood. However it does have a few rust issues, It will need a set of fenders, some rockers and corners and wil need a little rust repair on the on the pass side bedside. The truck is laser strait though and the original red and white paint should buff out pretty decent.

I gonna go get a better look at it tomorow after work and i'll snap a few pics for you guys.

Re: Been A while

Well heres the rust bucket I'm looking at, Its got a lot of options but its RUSTY!! But I am not afraid of a little work.

How hard is it to convert a non AC cab over to an AC cab? Also how hard is it to put a big back window in?

Re: Been A while

Thing is I'm not good with sheet metal, I can do about anything mechanical with out to much fuss but sheetmetal ain't my thing. I guess this truck would be an excelent way to learn.

I also discovered today it is a P/S truck also. So is this the deluxe horn button/ring I've heard about?

Its a pretty high optioned truck but why wouldn't it have a big back window?

It's a mere guess, but back then I'd guess fewer were familiar w/big glass: they were just more accustomed to the "standard" small glass.
