Ole dollor gets new bed wood

well i got the new bed wood stained. metal cleaned sanded and put it all in....the stain is a honey pine.....the wood has lots of knots and one fell out and i could not find it....so i put putty in the hole and stained over it....its real hard to find the fix....now for some pic's...

kcsa75: i bought the wood 1" x 6" and a friend of mine cut the sides down so the metal would be flush with the top of the wood, the metal came in 20' strips and i cut them to 8 foot, the metal is 1 1/2 " wide, i stained the wood honey pine satin ....the wood and metal was about $130.00, drilled 108 holes two times....and then counter sunk the top holes....the screws were self tapping tapered flat head, about $ 7.00 for 30 screws.....i think it turned out real good, and i put two coats of stain on the wood....

thanks everybody for the thumbs up....i am very proud of ole dollor , everyone that has seen it likes it, and i could have sold it several times in the past few weeks....i just tell them its not for sale....
