You guys will be impressed with painting. If you can paint with spray paint you can paint with a gun

That's not too far from the truth. As long as you can mix the paint and properly adjust the gun, shooting is the easy part.

I was planning on painting mine 'vette blue, but the more I see orange, the more I like it
Does orange hide imperfections well, like a white truck would for example? Jason

Looks Good! Just put the painted tires on the rear, and SMOKE it off!!! Anyone ever see the Snake, and the Mongoose smoke their tires the entire length of the track? Now that smelled like heaven!! Oh, that's right, some of you don't know them!!

Looks great! There is a truck in the next town over almost exactly like yours. I talked to the guy, his is a '71 GMC K1500 4x4, LWB, and has the same color scheme, and no trim. I think it is one of the best looking 4x4's i have seen. Your truck would look good with some of those allumium wheels with 8-10 2" holes spaced around the edges.

i plan on getting mickey thompsons classic 2's after i get some more money again. heres some pics of when i first got it. the funny thing is the truck was originally sold to a goat farmer in NH that was going to use it as a plow truck where it would probably end up being plowed to the ground. i told the PO i wanted to restore it so he sold it to me for half of what it was already sold for. the PO planned on restoring it but a new baby and a big block impala project kept him from.
