I,m new to the board but these old trucks aren't new to me. I've owned my 72 swb 4x4 since 1983 and can't imagine ever parting with it. Over the yrs I've restored the truck twice and it's getting about time to do it again. There isn't mutch left of the original truck, most everything has been replaced at one time or another due to all the salt they put on the roads up here in NH. Some of you will probably be hearing from me as I try to collect a few of those "RUST FREE" parts I see posted. May even have to make a road trip or two. Just got a digital camera, once I figure it out I'll
attempt to post some pics.

To CPNE

Jeff:

I'm in Sandown NH. I bought a 6' fleet side bed from you a few yrs back. It's still in my basement, I'll be using it this time around, but I'm looking for some rust & dent free sides for it. Once I find them I'll be selling the ones I have. May even buy a couple of Goodmark side panels if need be. I'm sure there's other parts I'll be needing once I dig into it and see what kind of shape things are in. I'll send you a list of things I need to see what you have.

Gary, I remember. Best bet here in NH is to go aftermarket bedsides. If you are planning to go to Carlisle PA All Truck Nationals in late June, there are a couple of vendors that will be there and I'm sure they can bring a pair to save you shipping. Try Either GMCPauls or Athey's Truck parts if you go that route. Good news for us in New England is that I believe the warehouse these things are drop shipped out of is in NJ so even freight shipping is not a deal breaker.

About all I have for AZ stuff left is 69-72 Chevy radiator supports and front fenders.

May those who love us, love us, any of those who do not love us, may God turn their hearts.
And if God is unable to turn their hearts, may he turn their ankles so we may know them by their limping.

A man who works with his hands is a laborer; a man who works with his hands and his brain is a craftsman; but a man who works with his hands and his brain and his heart is an artist.
