I just have to pass this one up.
I have too many projects going.

I was heading to SF but I ended up getting a few really nice contract jobs. So I'm staying in Oregon until at least the new year.

Re: I tossed and turned last night.

Guage clusters with a tach are that expensive? Is that just 64-66 or are the 60-63's high dollar too? I'm not selling mine but I picked up a nice tach dash for 75 bucks awhile back hmmm maybe I should get it off of that big stack of crap in the shed and keep it nice.

Re: I tossed and turned last night.

I went and looked at it.
I'll post some pics later.
The cab was pretty gone.
Yes, the goodies still make it worthwhile, I'm just not in the position to have another truck in my driveway.

Re: I tossed and turned last night.

I still think it's a nice grab for someone.
I just can't have another truck sitting around my house.
If someone local wanted to go in with me - where we could tear it down and get the goodies,
and send the rusted out cab and heavy metal to scrap - get in and get out - then I'm up to it.

Hey LostMy65,

I might be interested in going in on this one if it's still available. What is it that you're interested in? I'm kinda interested in the steering column. Was the engine really a 350 and did it have a TH 350 trans? PM me if you would please.

Re: I tossed and turned last night.

Looking at the wheel and column, it must be a '66. It has the th400 shift indicator. The gauge cluster is awesome too... wish I could save them all!

Re: I tossed and turned last night.

The column was one of the things that grabbed my attention.
Also the gauge cluster, and windshield trim.
Other than that, it's just metal to me.
The backup lights are nice - I didn't notice any pitting.
Most the trim is intact on the passenger side - although bent and dented in places.
Again, the cab is pretty much gone.

I'm altogether going to pass for the reasons that I don't have the means to haul it home, and I don't feel like hauling more scrap in for recycling.

For those interested, the truck is loaded with factory options;
Power Steering.
Power Brakes.
Custom Cab with all the trim.
3 speed Auto Transmission.
and all Deluxe features.

But, until I get some of my other projects buttoned up, I'm not in the position to dig into this one at this time.
