Airbagit.com scroll down the left side of the page to liftkits and the have coil springs for the front 2" or 3" and depending what you want to do with the rear you might be able to find a local shop that can add leafs or you can just but a add aleaf kit or buy a block to throw in to get some inchs.

I looked into this a while back. IIRC they don't make any kits for the 2wd since the components are different, but you may be able to find some stuff for 73-87 2wds that you can do a little fabrication to fit. Don't quote me on that. Do a search for prerunners.

No, The four wheel drive trucks use leaf springs on all four corners. Two wheel drives use either coils all around or coils up front and leafs in the rear.
With a coil truck and taller springs you might lift it an inch. Coil leaf trucks could use lift blocks on the rear. But then the front is still a problem. You just can't jack up an a-arm suspension without taking into accout things like alignment change through range of travel and droop or overtravel extension. That is why you just can't stuff a huge spring in it. It has to be able to travel. If you are set on doing this see if you can track down a set of taller spindles that fit. Or custom a-arms to adapt a workable spindle knuckle assembly.

You can get spring adjusters for our trucks and yes you might need to change shocks and get it put in line again

Ok, I ordered the 2" springs, it looks like I can stuff them in without changing a bunch of stuff. If I went 3" then I'd have to change all that stuff that SS Tim just said. And I don't want to spend a grand right now.
3 months ago, I bought the AutoZone (#6104) springs with the 1" rubber boosters and put those in. Also, New lower ball joints n rubber boots on upper and lower control arms, and new polyurethane sway bar bushings. I gained 5/8" and am able to barely squeeze a set of LT265/75R16's on it. dino made a 65 2wd prerunner. I think he used early 90's lifted spindles. looks up his build threads and you can see how he did it. I cant find a link for it right now, sorry.

Found this '69 C20 for sale locally. Guy claims 21" of clearance to the frame rails on 35" tires. Interesting arms on this one and upper ball joint angles. Its just too bad it has that wannabe pre-runner squat.

I'm looking for the same thing but mine is a c10 and that one link only had springs for a c20 and nothing for a c10....I have a 71 model c10 2wd w a 95 stepside bed I'm wantin to run a set of 35's so along with a body lift I was wantin to lift the suspension 2 or 3 inches maybe 4....any help would be greatly appriciated...also need more info on the rear like options on how to lift it too (coil springs on all 4 corners) i don't want the air bags and need more than just taller springs you can only get an inch or so that way until you start running in to other problems like suspension travel and steering...also I read where someone said something about a rear "trailing arm flop" any more info on that too would be nice....also does anybody make a rear leaf conversion for these....I much prefer the leaf springs over the coils

thanks that is some very helpful info...I was about to buy those springs from autozone till i saw this...I don't understand it those springs should lift the truck at least a lil bit not to mention those spacers...doesn't look like it was any different from stock maybe a half an inch maybe....those 2" springs are nice tho looks like you got the 2" lift that they advertise...I am also looking into the fabtech 4" setup...I just need a lil more info on it first....my understanding so far is the setup from a 88-98 chevy/gmc c1500 4" spindle lift will work on the old 67-72 c10 w a lil modification (I just need a lil more info on the mods) I read from someone elses post that you will need to change the outer tie rod ends and the ball joints over to the c30 setup. I'm wantin to run 35's on mine w a 3" body lift.
