Next Project, Installing Tailgate trim. Basic questions with install
I am onto the next project, installing tailgate trim.. I have all the trim on the truck now and want to buy the new kit and install it myself. I assume!! (assuming is the start of big $$$$$ when we mess up!).. Ok.. I assume the new kit has adhesive clips that make this a simple press on install... Is it that simple? Are there factory mounting holes under there now that gets covered? I really dont want to turn this into a javelin throw for distance if my patience runs thin cause i "assumed" wrong? who's done this swap?
lmc kit # 38-8761

If you already have existing trim it's really not that hard. I'd go with push factory style clips if you have a choice. They'll last longer and look better

Your right, i just looked in my LMC catalog and all it says is "all necessary mounting hardware included" I might would try some of the venders on this site, if you call them ask them what it includes. They'll be a lot more knowledgeable than a sales guy at LMC. I know i bought a lot of stuff from Manes i think and they were pretty good. Think they advertise on this site.
