who has blueprints for custom gas tank?
I know someone here had their tank made at the local boat builder. Can you email me a copy of the plans and also how many gallons it holds.
my email thanks, jay

Jay Dawg,
I just had a tank made for mine, but I think it would be different than yours. From what I learned on my truck, I see why No Limit wants your measurements before thay make your tank. The rear frame cross members in mine were both crooked, so my measurements are probably different then yours. By looking at the tank on the nolimit.net web page, taking your own measurements, and asking questions; you can come up with your own prints. i actually made a tank out of cardboard first. You can have the thing made from stainless, aluminum, or steel; just depends on your fabricator. Good luck.

72gmcshorty just posted the pic from the nolimit, net site and catalog. You need to check those measurements to your application, because that tank wouldn't fit in my frame. These may be generic, and No Limit has you take your own, or check them at least. This seems to be a good design. I have lowered the rear 4" and there is still plenty of clearance. As a matter of fact, I may make another tank with slightly deeper dimensions, more capacity.
I am still looking for a bolt down sending unit that is the chevy standard of 0-90 ohms. I know they are available, but haven't found one yet; maybe No Limits is 0-90. Anyone know of a different source?

Are any of you using baffles or foam inside the tanks to keep the gas from sloshing around? I like the nolimit tank. I have the poly blazer conversion tank in mine right now and am going to have to switch to the nolimit type since I'm using airbags in the rear.
Hey jay-dawg, where'd you get that avatar?

I have two baffles inside my tank; they are cut the same as the two ends, but are notched on the deep end for flow, and not welded at the top some there is some air flow.
I used the No Limit design, with my own measurements. This is my experimental tank; if it works as planned, I will make another, this time from something a tad lighter, but probably not aluminum. I don't need it for looks, just function.
