Steering wheel compatibility
I have searched google, this site, the HAMB, and still can't figure it out. Which steering wheels will fit my 69 c10? I really like the ones off of the earlier 60's cars (Biscaynes, Impalas). My question is, will they bolt on? will they work with the turn signal cam? Sorry to ask, but I have combed the internet, and haven't found a thing.

Re: Steering wheel compatibility
I know the early steering wheels were a different spline,... but I don't know the exact year they changed.
I know that anything from 67-94 will work,... as long as you use the correct horn contact for that year wheel. Can someone answer the question about the early 58-64 steering wheels?

Re: Steering wheel compatibility
I know some of the early and mid sixties car wheels will fit the mid sixties trucks, but I don't know if they have changed for our years. I am going back to manual steering on my truck, and I need a bigger wheel, but the one that is factory is a little plain for me.

Re: Steering wheel compatibility
I have a later 1970-72 column with a 65 steering wheel in my 1965. It fit with no problem. I'm almost certain I've seen a few of the older impala 60-61 steering wheels on a couple of 64-5-6 trucks too.

Re: Steering wheel compatibility
I'd like something plain, basically stock-looking, but a little smaller diameter than my current wheel.
