New guy introduction.
Hello everyone! After MONTHS of harassment about needing to check out this site by one of my friends, I check out this site. I must say it is amazing and I am hooked! Just wanted to share some pics of my '81 Scottsdale.

Re: New guy introduction.
My daughter would come unhinged if I brought that truck home; she just loves green. Looks like it is really clean, especially for Michigan.

Re: New guy introduction.
Lol! My uncle drove it as his summer truck to Pontiac Motors. You should see his 77 GMC c10. (Royal blue with light blue center). You can throw a cat through it. It had some light surface rust on some spots. When he died, I got the truck. Along with it were some parts. (I, nor his widow knew to what extent) He had new front inner and outer fenders, hood, doors, radiator support, grill, headlight bezels, all new rubber, and tailgate stashed in the shed. It was all original GM parts too. So, I put it on with help from some friends in a couple weekends to freshen it up. This guy was nuts about keeping everything pristine and was obsessed with preparation.

I love the green, and the cap! I wouldn't change a thing about it, honestly. That's a survivor.
